Prodex offers unfinished and primed solid pine interior doors from the renowned manufacturer Madepar. This series is designed for those who wish to bring the natural, substantial feel of solid wood into their interiors while retaining complete freedom to choose their own finish—ranging from Scandinavian-style white-tinted oils and hard-wax oils to bold lacquers or opaque paints.
To completely eliminate the warping and knot-loosening often associated with low-quality timber, the door leaves feature a core constructed from finger-jointed and edge-glued wood, clad in an elegant, select-grade knot-free veneer. Base models are available in our Riga warehouse stock for immediate pickup.
Engineered stability against deformation
Wood is a living material that reacts to fluctuations in air humidity during the heating season; therefore, Madepar doors incorporate three levels of stabilization:

They are ideally suited for treatment with tinted furniture oils that highlight the wood grain pattern.

Price Range and Product Availability
The pine wood series offers genuine solid wood at a mid-range price point. Basic unfinished door models (such as the classic Nevada or the smooth Dakota) are available in the €110 to €130 price range. Doors featuring inset frosted tempered glass (Mona) or the primed Linda series fall within the €120 to €140 range. We maintain a constant stock of classic unfinished and primed base models at our Riga warehouse, while delivery of the Kristal glazed series and specific sizes from the factory is expedited, taking just 5 to 7 days.
Wood is a hygroscopic material—it expands and contracts in response to room humidity. If a solid wood panel is installed in a wooden door, it shrinks during winter as the air becomes drier, causing strips of unfinished wood or cracks to appear along the panel’s edges. Veneered MDF is visually and texturally indistinguishable from solid wood, yet its dimensions are completely stable—the panel will never crack or warp.
If a door frame is cut from a single solid piece of timber, the wood retains an inherent tendency to warp along the direction of its grain. By cutting the wood into shorter lengths, removing all knots, and gluing the pieces back together using finger joints, the internal stresses within the wood are completely neutralized. Consequently, these doors do not warp.
The doors come pre-coated from the factory with a high-quality white base primer. Before painting, lightly sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper (e.g., P220–P240) to remove any minor imperfections from transport, wipe away the dust, and apply one or two coats of any interior paint suitable for wood surfaces using a roller or sprayer.
Unlike standard doors, which have only a thin strip of wood at the bottom, Madepar wooden doors feature a bottom frame designed with extra height allowance. This allows up to 8 cm to be trimmed from the bottom of the door without compromising the structural integrity of the frame.
