Regardless of your interior style or project requirements, Prodex offers a comprehensive range of solutions:
Natural wood aesthetics combined with high dimensional stability and effective sound insulation.
A versatile classic for modern and traditional interiors, featuring PU or water-based finishes.
A design blend of paint and nature—an opaque finish that reveals the wood grain texture.
A wide variety of PVC and PP finishes, including wood-effect patterns and solid colors.
Certified galvanized steel doors with an EI30 fire resistance rating.
Solid wood doors from Madepar—offering complete freedom for lacquering, oiling, or painting.
Aluminum frames with reverse or standard opening—a key element of minimalist interiors.
Mechanisms from Italian and European manufacturers, available in black, gold, graphite, and chrome finishes.
Products in stock, not just in the catalog
Many stores offer doors with an 8–12 week delivery time. At Prodex, almost all products displayed in the showroom are also available in our on-site warehouse—you can come in, take a look, and take them home the same day.
Single-source responsibility from measurement to completion
Our in-house specialists measure the opening, deliver the doors, and handle the installation, providing a two-year warranty on both the product and the workmanship.
Structural design adapted to the Latvian climate
Prodex interior doors are made from engineered wood designed to withstand Latvia’s humidity and the dry air of winter.
Cost estimates with no nasty surprises
Transparency is our core principle. Every item in the quote is clearly justified based on your choices.
Doors supplied and installed by Prodex open daily in more than 150 completed apartment complexes and public buildings, as well as in hundreds of private homes and apartments across Latvia.
The golden rule is to measure the “clear” masonry opening—from the finished floor surface to the top lintel and from wall to wall—at three different points, using the narrowest measurement as the basis. A common mistake is confusing the size of the door leaf with the size of the opening itself. If your masonry opening is 900 x 2100 millimeters, you need a standard 800-millimeter door unit, as the remaining space is required for the frame and installation foam. If you are unsure about the straightness of your walls, entrust this task to our surveyor—we will take full responsibility for ensuring the ordered doors fit with millimeter precision.
The main difference lies in the core material, the quality of the veneer, and the finish. Mass-market retailers typically offer doors with a honeycomb—or “cardboard”—core and veneers of widely varying patterns. In contrast, we primarily use sound-insulating core materials and carefully selected veneers for our veneered doors. These are heavy, stable doors offering genuine sound insulation (exceeding 28 dB)—doors that won’t get a hole punched in them by a toy block thrown by a child.
Unlike standard doors, which are installed at the very end of the renovation process onto the finished floor, aluminum frames for concealed doors must be ordered and installed during the rough finishing stage. The aluminum frame is integrated into the drywall or masonry wall structure while it is being built—prior to wall filling and painting. If the walls are already painted and the baseboards installed, it will no longer be technically feasible to install concealed doors without breaking into the wall.
Yes, they are perfectly suitable for rooms subject to occasional dampness, as the polyurethane finish, lacquered veneer, and laminate all create a moisture-proof barrier. However, there is one crucial requirement that other sellers often fail to mention: the room must have a functioning forced ventilation system, and the gap between the bottom edge of the door frame/casing and the floor must be sealed with sanitary silicone during installation to prevent the wood from absorbing moisture from the floor—including during cleaning. Remember, direct contact with water will inevitably cause problems that are not covered by the warranty.
If your chosen interior door model, frame, and casings are in stock at our central warehouse in Riga and you plan to handle the installation yourself, you can load your purchase into your vehicle immediately after payment. If you opt for our service involving the installation of your chosen hardware and the assembly of a complete door unit—leaving only the final installation to you or your contractor—the turnaround time is 7–14 days. When choosing Prodex’s full-service package, which includes delivery and installation, the average time from the confirmation of measurements to the moment the technician screws on the final handle in your home is 45 days.
