The Prodex catalog of interior door hardware and handles combines ergonomic design with reliable mechanics. Eschewing lightweight imitations, our range features high-quality handles made of stainless steel and solid aluminum, mounted on split roses.
Thanks to multi-layer galvanic and lacquer coatings, they are resistant to micro-scratches caused by rings and keys. Most of the models listed are available immediately from our Riga warehouse or via expedited delivery within 2 to 3 days.
Mechanical Anatomy: Why Prodex Handles Don’t Sag
The biggest issue with budget-range handles is that they become loose and start to sag within the very first year of use. The reliability of our product series (Dolce, Prive, Quattro, Iki, Delta, etc.) is ensured by three engineering features:

Price Range and Delivery Speed
The Prodex handle catalog offers European-standard metalwork without the design markups. Basic frame and minimalist aluminum handles (such as the basic black models or the Delta series) are available in the entry-level price range of €15 to €25 per set. Designer series featuring premium surface finishes—such as graphite, titanium, or matte gold coatings (e.g., Prive, Dolce, Quattro, or Boston Slim)—fall within the €30 to €55 range. Items currently in stock in Riga are available for pickup on the day of purchase, while models from larger series marked “within 2 days” or “within a week” are delivered directly from the manufacturers’ regional distribution centers.
Cheap handles lack an internal spring; they rely entirely on the door lock mechanism to maintain a horizontal position. Consequently, the lock’s spring wears out quickly. Prodex handle roses feature a built-in independent double spring mechanism. When you press the handle and release it, the mechanism within the rose forcefully returns it to a perfectly horizontal position.
Typically, the handle rosette is attached to the door using small wood screws driven directly into the door surface. Since doors are often made of MDF, the screw threads quickly strip, and the handle ends up coming loose in the user’s hand. Through-bolts, however, pass through both the door and the lock body itself, connecting the two handle assemblies; this makes it physically impossible to pull the handle off. The installer is responsible for drilling these holes in the door leaf.
Our handles are equipped with an international standard 8×8 mm steel spindle. If your door is fitted with any standard European-style lock (DIN standard, Abloy, Hobes, etc.), this handle will be a perfect fit.
No. With cheap handles, the color is simply sprayed on. For our steel, aluminum, and Zamak models, we use galvanization or deep electrostatic anodizing—processes where the pigment layer is fused into the metal’s surface at a molecular level. They are resistant to wet hands, rings, and household cleaning products.
